When it comes to cocktails + non-alcoholic drinks, Columbus is full to the brim. And today, we’re spilling the details on 10 different drinks you need to try this week for Drink Up. Cheers. 🥂

Cocktails 🍸

Carfagna’s Ristorante, 1440 Gemini Pl. | Prosciutto fat washed margarita

This Drink Up partner features an Italian-spin on a classic drink with anejo tequila infused with prosciutto fat. The margarita is finished off with a combination of agave, fresh lime juice + Orange Tiger orange liqueur for a smoky and sweet sipper.

Forno Kitchen + Bar, 721 N. High St. | Cotton Candy Rose

This drink, which is City Editor Hanna approved, invites you to be a kid again — that is if a kid could have a cotton candy cocktail. Dunk your cotton candy into your drink + watch it dissolve into Watershed vodka, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur, and Anna de Codorníu.

High Bank Distillery Co., 1051 Goodale Blvd. | Watermelon Sugar High

We don’t know if we can ever live without… this drink, inspired by the popular Harry Styles song, is lightly-carbonated + refreshing with cucumber-infused High Bank Statehouse Gin, watermelon juice, lime, and sage.

Echo Spirits, 985 W. 6th Ave. | Frenchmen Street Freeze

If you need a drink that will wake you up, look no further than this New Orleans-style coffee cocktail. Echo makes this with housemade vodka, St. George Nola Coffee liqueur, beignets, roasted coffee, and cocoa bitters.

Watershed Kitchen + Bar, 1145 Chesapeake Ave., Suite D | The Orca

Before you take a sip, make sure you snap a photo of the citrus bark delicately placed on the side of the glass. It compliments the mezcal, sake, grapefruit, and cinnamon inside this sneakily disguised margarita.

The Dry Mill, 79 N. 4th St. | A CBUS Summer

This Drink Up partner is Columbus’ first and only sober bar with exclusively non-alcoholic drinks, including A CBUS Summer. This drink is made with hints of lime, cucumber, hibiscus + hazelnut.

The Light of Seven Matchsticks, 5601 N. High St. | N/A Old Fashion

For those who love old fashions, but not the lingering hangover, try the non-alcoholic version at this speakeasy under Natalie’s Coal-Fired Pizza in Grandview. The smoky + spicy (not heat spicy) cocktail is a delicious alternative, and still served in a fancy glass with a single big ice cube.

Comune, 677 Parsons Ave. | N/A Your Time is My Time is Our Time

Sip back this drink, which is City Editor Mitch approved, made with Spiritless Kentucky 47 Whiskey — a non-alcoholic bourbon with hints of caramel and vanilla. Comune then finishes the drink off with raspberry aperitif + lavender bitters, making it a beautiful ruby color.

Watershed Kitchen + Bar, 1145 Chesapeake Ave., Suite D | Roman Highball

We are headed back to Watershed, which has multiple N/A options, such as the Roman Highball. This drink can be made non-alcoholic, and is Watershed’s twist on a Moscow mule with ginger and lime.

VASO, 6540 Riverside Dr. | N/A Vaso G&T

While this is VASO’s take on the classic gin and tonic, it’s far from a two-ingredient cocktail. This N/A comes with bergamot, lavender, juniper berries, and tonka beans in a refreshing + sparkling drink.
