Ohio State womenâs ice hockey

In March, Ohio State womenâs ice hockey wrapped up a 32-win season and won the national championship for the first time in the organizationâs history. This season, the team is continuing to skate after excellence as theyâre currently ranked No. 2 nationally.
The Buckeyes are off to a strong start with a 10-1-1 record. Standouts like graduate forward Emma Maltais are leading the way, as Emma just broke the program record with 171 career points. Graduate defenseman Sophie Jaques, who was the 2022 WCHA Defenseman of Year, also leads the Buckeyes in scoring with 12 goals already this season.
