The nightlife scene in Columbus is continually evolving — and whether you’re looking to dance, play games, or sip on a drink with downtown views, there’s a spot for everyone.

Hit the disco 🕺

The one true disco bar in CBUS — The Go Go — just hit the scene last summer. The Italian Village spot, located at 987 N. 4th St., is decked out with neon decor, vibrant art painted on the walls, lava lamps, and disco balls. The bar is equipped with a full dance floor, flashing lights, and music that rotates from 80s to current hits.

All that jazz 🎺

Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge, which opened in April, is the newest jazz bar in the city. The dimly lit, basement-level lounge is open Monday-Saturday and features live jazz and bluegrass music nightly. Cocktails are the specialty, with a wide selection of classic drinks and Ginger Rabbit originals. Upscale seafood bites are available on the food menu such as octopus, branzino, and smoked trout filets.

Sip with scenic views 🏙️

The newest rooftop bar in Columbus, Mandrake Rooftop, just opened earlier this month and has some of the best skyline views the city has to offer. The Short North bar is on the 10th floor of the Moxy and features tapas, a vast wine and cocktail menu, and bottle service.

It’s all fun and games 🎮

Channel some friendly competition at 16-Bit Bar + Arcade, located at 254 S. 4th St. + 6564 Riverside Dr. You can play 40+ classic arcade games like Pinball and Pac-Man, and as long as you’re drinking, the games are free. The drink menu includes a large variety of cocktails, mocktails, beer, and slushies.
