As we enter the mid-point of Women’s History Month, a local agency is celebrating business women of today with a new initiative.

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce launched The Women’s Collective — a new initiative focused on advancing women in the local workforce —on Tuesday, March 12. Let’s bust through glass ceilings with the details.

  • The goal of the group is to empower, inform, and advocate for women in the Columbus region.
  • The group will highlight recent job changes of women in the group, as well as create groups of “women to watch” to be promoted among the city.
  • The group is led by eight advisory board members, including Lisa Gutierrez, CEO of Dos Hermanos Taco Truck LLC.
  • A newsletter will be launched to keep women informed on “empowering stories + thought-provoking content” that celebrate women.
