Ranked: Columbus rental prices among the best in the nation

Columbus isn’t just a hot housing market — it’s one of the most affordable for renters, too.

That’s what we found digging through new data from Realtor.com , which ranked Columbus as the No. 2 most affordable market for renters in February 2023. According to the data, the average rent price in Columbus is $1,175.

For comparison, Cincinnati also made its way in the top 10 at No. 4. Its average rent price last month was $1,233. Other notable cities on the list include Oklahoma City at No. 1, with rent rates at $980 per month.
