Another weekend in Columbus means another local festival — would you have it any other way?

The Westerville Music & Arts Festival returns from Saturday, July 8-Sunday, July 9 at Heritage Park + Everal Barn, both located at 60 N. Cleveland Ave. With $1 admission for anyone 10+ years old, we’d argue this is one the best bang-for-your-buck festivals of the season.

Each day starts at 10 a.m. with live music, food and drinks, local art, and shopping. Food trucks like Broke Johnny offers breakfast options while others, like Tortilla Street Food, will offer lunch and dinner. Perhaps most importantly, beer sales begin at 5 p.m. with brews from Rhinegeist and Zaftig.

The festival boasts 25+ performers across two days, and we recommend making the most of Saturday. The day begins with Sonic Skyways at 10 a.m. and is capped off with The Reganomics, a local favorite, at 7:30 p.m. Throughout this time frame, 15 performances will happen across three stages.

A total of 125 artists will have their work on display throughout the weekend, ranging from three-year-old prodigies to lifelong painters. Plus, anyone feeling inspired can stop by the artist’s tent to find local experts teaching quick classes on different topics.

Parking can be stressful, but organizers made it easier by recommending these dedicated spots:

  • Westerville Sports Complex Parking Lot, 325 N. Cleveland Ave.
  • The Point at Otterbein, 60 Collegeview Rd.
  • Former Senior Center Parking Lot, 310 W. Main St.

The Westerville Sports Complex will also have a trolley running to and from the festival. An additional trolley will be available on Saturday only that will make runs from the festival + parking lot D in Uptown Westerville.
