House of Creole, 1026 N. High St. | Cajun-Creole
Get a taste of New Orleans at this Cleveland-based restaurant by ordering the Cajun shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, oysters on the half shell, and bayou pasta.

isla, 116 E. Moler St. | Communal fine dining
Dishes at this chef‑driven spot in Merion Village, which is a sister restaurant to Roy’s Ave Supper Club, are almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

Cheffy Dawg, multiple locations | Hot dogs
The pop-up, bicycle-powered hot dog cart serves frank specials and staples from Antiques on High on Saturdays and Seventh Son on Sundays.

Mi Tradicion, 3131 Broadway | Mexican
The concept’s fourth location is now open, serving its handmade burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and more alongside a unique margarita menu.

Barrio Burrito Bar, 3301 Morse Rd. | Tex-Mex
This fast-growing chain is newly open in CBUS, so stop by to customize your own burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas.

Bar Italia, 4145 The Strand | Italian
From an heirloom tomato salad to Gulf Shrimp Spaghetti, this Italian restaurant’s menu is making our mouths water. Make a reservation.

Deli-lightful news — Milo’s Deli is making a comeback. More than a decade after closing, the Franklinton favorite plans to reopen by Labor Day. Get ready for paninis, Greek and Italian bites, and homemade bread.

Barrel & Bloom, 2365 W. Dublin Granville Rd. | Coffee + beer | ETA: TBD
Endeavor Brewing & Spirits is stirring up something new. The local “brewstillery” plans to open Barrel & Bloom — a coffee shop by day, bar by night — in the former home of Random Precision Brewing in Linworth.

Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips, 1216 W. Fifth Ave. | Seafood | ETA: TBD
The Columbus-born fast food chain plans to move into the former Marino’s Seafood Fish & Chips site.

Mikey’s Late Night Slice, 8770 Galaxy Way | Pizza | ETA: Sometime in 2026
The Columbus pizza chain known for its New York-style pies plans to open a location at The Galaxy at Polaris, a new mixed-use development.
