Freshmen

• Brice Sensabaugh is a 6'6", 235-lb four-star forward from Orlando. He was Florida’s Gatorade Player of the Year and Mr. Basketball as a senior, averaging 25.1 points per game.
• Roddy Gayle Jr. was ranked the No. 41 prospect and the No. 2 shooting guard in his recruiting class by 247Sports.
• Felix Okpara is a 6’11”, four-star recruit with a strong shot-blocking ability. Felix is from Nigeria and moved to the US in 2018.
• Bruce Thornton is a four-star recruit and No. 8 ranked point guard by 247Sports. He was Georgia’s Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior, averaging 17.2 points per game.
• Colby Baumann is a walk-on guard who played at IMG Academy in Florida for his senior year and a post-graduate year.
• Bowen Hardman is a three-star recruit guard from Cincinnati who earned honorable mention All-Ohio honors during his junior season.

Transfers

• Tanner Holden is a senior transfer from Wright State where he played three seasons and notched 13 double-doubles. Last season, he averaged 20.1 points per game with 723 total points, which was the sixth-most in the nation.
• Owen Spencer is a junior transfer from Citadel where he played in 23 games as a forward with a total of 20 points and 41 rebounds.
• Isaac Likekele is a graduate transfer from Oklahoma State and was the first player in school history to have more than 1,000 points, 600 rebounds and 400 assists.
• Sean McNeil is a graduate transfer guard from West Virginia where he averaged 12.2 points per game over the last two seasons.

Returners

• Zed Key, Justice Sueing, Eugene Brown III, and Kalen Etzler are returning, although Kalen red-shirted last season and did not play.

• Dahlia Nightclub in the Arena District, which permanently closed in April, will be demolished early next year and made into a 16-spot gravel parking lot. The Columbus Downtown Commission approved the demolition and require that there is a plan for the site within five years from owner Adam Lewin. (The Columbus Dispatch)

• JPMorgan Chase & Co., which employs nearly 17,000 people in central Ohio, now has health clinics inside their offices in Easton, Polaris, and Westerville. The primary care clinics are operated through a partnership between Vera Whole Health and Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians Inc. (Columbus Business First)

• BalletMet’s “Dracula” show is returning to the Riffe Center’s Davidson Theatre just in time for Halloween. Shows start on Fri., Oct. 28 and will continue through Sat., Nov. 5. Tickets are available online starting at $36. 🩰

• Winter Jam Tour 2023, a Christian music tour, is coming to The Schottenstein Center on Sat., Jan. 28. Christian artists like We The Kingdom, Jeremy Camp, and Andy Mineo will headline the tour. Tickets are $15 at the door. 🎶

• The No. 2 ranked OSU football team is heading to Happy Valley, and Ryan Day previewed the game in a press conference yesterday. The undefeated Buckeyes aren’t taking Penn State lightly, as Day said, “Going into State College is going to be a challenge and our guys understand how big a challenge this is going to be.” 🏈

• Tickets are now available for holiday events at Franklin Park Conservatory, including Conservatory Aglow. Running from Sat., Nov. 19-Sun., Jan. 8, guests can view themed light displays with musical light shows, life-size gingerbread houses, and ornament trees. 🎄
