When it comes to bagel shops in Columbus, one round of suggestions just wasn’t enough. Thank you to our readers who shared feedback on more of their favorite places to grab a local bagel. Here are four more must-try spots to fulfill your bagel cravings.
🥯 Bears Bagels, 4968 Shady Oak Dr.
Currently available for carryout only, this new Hilliard bagel spot opened in 2022 and features bagels that are rested for 24 hours, boiled, then baked. Try this: The rosemary sea salt bagel, one of four signature flavors on the menu.
🥯 Barry Bagels, Multiple locations
With shops in Dublin and Westerville, try a variety of bagel flavors ranging from garlic to vanilla cinnamon. Top your bagel with your choice of meats, egg, or cream cheese spreads like honey brown sugar and southwest jalapeño. Try this:A package of bagel thins can be ordered for $4.99.

Columbus City Council is opening a downtown marketplace to assist women and minority-owned businesses. Through a marketplace program, the city would provide three years of rent support and technical assistance to 10 small businesses. An exact location has yet to be determined. SoupFest, a community gathering with homemade soup and live music, is returning on Saturday, March 11 in the Valley Dale Ballroom at 1590 Sunbury Rd. Tickets range from $50-$75 for samples of up to 45 soups, performances from seven bands, and exclusive merchandise. 🥣
