Amazonproposed plans for an enormous technology complex on the 400 acres of land it purchased for $116.6 million earlier this month in New Albany. Plans show 18 data center buildings on the west side of Beech Road and 11 buildings on the east side. 🏗️ (The Columbus Dispatch)

Sweet Treats Dessert Festival is happening Saturday, Jan. 28 at 589 W. Nationwide Blvd. Tickets are $20-$25 to enjoy samples from 20+ local bakers, including Breedlove Bakery, Too Good Eats, and The Bearded Baker. 🧁
The 5th annual Columbus Taco Fest will be Saturday, May 20-Sunday, May 21 at Genoa Park. The free-to-attend festival will have taco food trucks, live music, tequila, and beer from local vendors. 🌮

Want to watch 100+ exotic butterflies float in nature? Head to the Pacific Island Water Garden Biome in Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens from Saturday, Feb. 25-Monday, May 29 (Memorial Day) for Blooms & Butterflies.
The viewing habitat is ideal for the butterflies to thrive, with bright sunlight, flora, nectar to sip on, and a variety of plants to bask on. And it will also make a great spot for a photo op.
In addition to watching the butterflies soar, you can also head to the Metamorphosis Lab in the Grand Atrium to learn about the butterfly life cycle.
Viewing the butterflies is included with the purchase of general admission tickets, which are free for children under three and $15-$22 for others. General admission allows you to enter between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and you must choose your entry time online when reserving tickets.
