  • Construction is underway on Greenery, a 37-acre residential development. The Lewis Center community will feature 121 homes ranging from 1,500+ to 2,900+ sqft with the first homes reaching completion in summer 2024. (Columbus Business First)

  • The 2023 Columbus Air Show — Friday, June 16-Sunday, June 18 — is expected to attract 100,000 people to the city. The show will feature the US Navy Blue Angels at Rickenbacker International Airport + tickets for Friday and Sunday are still available. (Columbus Business First)

Take advantage of the Ohio free fishing weekend

Every year, Ohioans have the chance to enjoy a weekend of free fishing without a license, and this year is no exception. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources announced that from Saturday, June 17-Sunday, June 18, you can head out to any of the public waters in the state to bait your hook.

Check out these five central Ohio fishing spots:
  • Hoover Reservoir
  • Alum Creek State Park
  • Buckeye Lake State Park
  • Antrim Park
  • Deer Creek State Park
Beginners can also find luck at smaller water outlets at Three Creeks, Scioto Grove, and other Columbus Metro Parks.
