• The Columbus Blue Jackets released their schedule for the 2023-24 NHL season. The Jackets will play a total of 41 games at home, with the season and home opener on Thursday, Oct. 12 against the Philadelphia Flyers. Season ticket packages are on sale now.

• OhioHealth and Columbus State Community College are investing $120 million into healthcare infrastructure in hopes of doubling the amount of medical school graduates. • The Grant Medical Center expansion could grow larger after OhioHealth officials applied for more space along Sixth Street. If approved, this would permanently close a portion of Sixth Street near the hospital, which will one day become a medical office with a pavilion. (Columbus Business First)

• Broadband in the Buckeye State is getting a boost after federal funds were approved last week. According to the program, Ohio is set to receive nearly $800 million for broadband expansions, which will go towards bringing high speed internet to thousands of Ohioans who lack it.
