Gyropolis, a Minnesota-based Greek restaurant, is opening on Saturday, July 22 at 3369 Indianola Ave. in Clintonville. This replaces the former Rodos’ space, which moved to Linworth earlier this year. The new Rodos is located at 2151 W. Dublin-Granville Rd., however it hasn’t announced a firm opening date. Intown Golf Club, an Atlanta-based simulation lounge, is planning a spring 2024 opening at 6620 Mooney St. in Dublin. The experience offers eight simulation bays, putting greens, and (most importantly) a bar. This will be Intown’s first Ohio location. (614now)
Community
A former railroad track in Linden will become a new park after City Council approved plans totaling more than $4.9 million. Once complete, the Linden Green Line will be seven miles long and cover 58 acres, making it a 10-minute walk away for 131,000+ residents. (The Columbus Dispatch)
Concert
Playboi Carti, a rapper with 31+ million monthly Spotify listeners, is performing at the Schottenstein Center on Thursday, Oct. 5. The popular hip-hop artist has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including The Weeknd + Madonna. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 14 at 10 a.m.

The Columbus Crew will be without head coach Wilfred Nancy after he was suspended by the MLS for two games. In the last game, Nancy was ejected in the second half after a heated exchange with officials. This means Nancy will miss the “Hell is Real” rivalry game against Cincinnati FC on Sunday, Aug. 20.
