Photo submissions from CBUStoday readers of local Halloween decor
Would you enter this cemetery? | Photo by reader Inga B.
Can you believe Halloween is next week? If you’re not feeling festive quite yet, maybe walking by some of these decked-out homes will spark your spooky side.
We asked our readers to submit pictures of local yards with festive furnishings for a chance to be featured in this story, and we’re excited to share submissions that had us feeling haunted.
Reader Igna B. shared some photos from Upper Arlington neighborhoods, ranging from staged cemeteries to pumpkin-headed creatures. Check out the yards below:

Another great neighborhood for frightening sights is Victorian Village. The Victorian-style houses are known for going all out with Halloween-themed inflatables, yard signs, tree hangings, and lots of skeletons. It’s even better to walk through this neighborhood at dusk, if you’re brave.
Reader Amanda S. also joined in on the fun by sharing her very own yard in Pickerington. Say hello to her skeleton friends below:

It’s not too late to share more eccentric yard decor you stumble upon. We’d love to share the photos before Halloween, so send them our way.

Former OSU quarterback C.J. Stroud’s pregame pick of the Buckeyes became true after OSU defeated Penn State 20-12 on Saturday.
The theme “Scarlet the Shoe” proved to be a success, as a sea of Buckeye fans in shades of red flooded Ohio Stadium. In addition to the scarlet uniforms, the players also rocked customized cleats gifted from Ohio native LeBron James.
The Bucks, who came into the matchup with a No. 3 ranking, now remain one of only two Big Ten teams with a clean conference record — I guess that’s one thing we have in common with TTUN.
The grind continues on Saturday, Oct. 28 as the Buckeyes travel to Wisconsin (hey, 608today) to face the Badgers with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. The next home game is Saturday Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. against Michigan State. Grab tickets.
I’m officially in the market for a new microphone. My first microphone for CBUStoday has had some iconic moments, traveling to Madison Square Garden with me, and interviewing everyone from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy to former Buckeye football star Cardale Jones. Don’t worry, I’ll have a new one in no time.
