That O-H so familiar feeling has returned: Where will OSU be ranked for the College Football Playoffs?
We got that answer when OSU was ranked No. 1 by the CFP Committee on Tuesday night. And if you didn’t know by now — this happens basically every year. The Buckeyes are among the best when it comes to the playoffs and we have the data to prove it.
First for everything
Ohio State is the first-ever undisputed champion after winning the first-ever playoffs in 2014. Did we mention they were led by a third-string quarterback?
All we do is win
The Buckeyes are ranked No. 3 all-time in playoff wins, according to NCAA stats. The leaderboard is Alabama (13), Clemson (10), and Ohio State (7).
Act like we’ve been here
Ohio State is also ranked No. 3 all-time in playoff appearances, with Alabama and Clemson just ahead. The Buckeyes went to the playoffs in: 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020, and 2022.
