Columbus was just announced as a priority for two of four key Amtrak routes in Ohio. The Federal Railroad Administration will spend $1 million studying two routes that include Columbus for developmental efforts. It also puts them on a short list for some of the $2.4 billion in Amtrak expansion funds.
What does this mean? We’ve been talking about Amtrak coming to town for a while. This makes it more likely we’ll be visiting the bar car soon. |
