Monday

Tuesday

Lagree House, a Clintonville-based fitness center, will open its second location in Dublin’s Bridge Park in early 2024. The 2,000-sqft gym specializes in machines that offer low impact on bodies.

Monster Jam, the popular monster truck show, returns to the Schottenstein Center on Friday, April 26-Sunday, April 28 for a multi-night event. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m.
Civic
It’s property tax season. Franklin County residents can now view their property tax online with the first payment due by Wednesday, Jan. 31. Here’s your friendly reminder they will be due again on Thursday, June 20. (NBC4)
Outdoors
The Ohio History Center invites families to Wild Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year’s topic is focused on local mammals, climates, composting, animal interactions, bird conservation, ancient animals, and beekeeping.
Sports
Quinshon Judkins, a former Ole Miss runningback, transferred to Ohio State on Tuesday morning. The star back led his former team in rushing yards the last two seasons, and took to X to say he wants to beat TTUN + win a Big Ten Championship. (10TV)

If you’re anything like us, you aren’t missing a second of the award season. That means judging (maybe too harshly) red carpet wardrobes + firing off hot takes when your favorite film isn’t a winner. With that in mind, here are some of our favorite movies that include CBUS.
Movies
“Teachers” | Released: 1984 | Comedy + drama | Nick Nolte stars in this film that was shot and based in Columbus.
“The Breakfast Club” | Released: 1985 | Comedy + coming-of-age | This is a small Easter egg, but shout out to this Redditor for noticing the “OHIOST” license plate near the end of the film.
“Zombieland” | Released: 2009 | Action, comedy + horror | Jesse Eisenberg portrays a character attempting to get to Columbus alongside a star-studded cast.
“Ready Player One” | Released: 2018 | Action, adventure + sci-fi | Witness a cyberpunk-themed version of the city in this film about virtual reality.
