Spring is almost here, and you can catch some rays or laze in the shade at one of these 25 Columbus patios.

Bars and breweries

Land-Grant Brewing Company, 424 W. Town St. | This is one of the most popular Franklinton patios, primarily because of its massive beer garden with outdoor games and food trucks like Ray Ray’s and Mikey’s Late Night Slice. | Shade available upon request

Jackie O’s On Fourth, 171 N. 4th St. | Find ample outdoor seating — from swings to picnic benches to high-tops — on multiple levels. | Partially shaded

    With warmer weather comes the beauty of spring sports at Ohio State, and there are plenty of teams to cheer for outdoors.

    Softball

    • The home opener at Buckeye Field is Wednesday, March 27 against Dayton.

    Baseball

    • The Buckeyes start a home series at Bill Davis Stadium on Friday, March 22 against Georgetown.

    Lacrosse

    • The women’s team returns home on Saturday, March, 16 (free admission) while the men’s team hosts Denver on Sunday, March 17. Both teams play in the new, state-of-the-art Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium.

    Track and Field

    • Both the men’s and women’s teams will host the Jesse Owens Classic on Friday, April 19 + Saturday, April 20. Admission is free.

    Tennis

    • The women’s team will host TTUN on Friday, March 15, while the men’s team will be home again on Friday, March 22. Admission is free.
