Girls just want to have fun. That’s what Columbus will be singing on Sunday, Nov. 3 when Cyndi Lauper takes over the Schottenstein Center. This is Lauper’s farewell tour, so don’t miss your chance to see her in concert one last time. Tickets are available today, starting at 10 a.m.
Development
An old office building in Dublin will find new life after it was approved to be transformed into a charter school. The “Heart of Ohio Classical Academy” will be located at 4650 Lakehurst Ct., and plans to be open by this fall. The project will cost roughly $4 million. (Columbus Business First)

Or should we say, don’t eat? Cucumbers in Ohio have been recalled by the Food and Drug Administration due to a salmonella outbreak. If you recently ate cucumbers and are experiencing symptoms such as a high-temperature fever, the CDC recommends you contact a doctor. (The Columbus Dispatch)
Community
The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium is planning to ramp up front gate security this summer amid its multiple construction projects. The Zoo will add a new system known as “EVOLV” which is an enhanced metal detector with the added benefit of making the line flow faster. (NBC4)
Watch
Momo Ghar, a popular local Indian restaurant, will soon be featured on a new episode of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on Food Network. Host Guy Fieri reportedly stopped by the restaurant on May 31 to film the episode. An official airing date was not disclosed. (614now)

Harvest of Ohio, the first Black- and women-owned dispensary in CBUS, was acquired by Trulieve, another Columbus-based dispensary. This means the dispensary will now source its products from new third-party sources instead of its farm in Ironton. (Columbus Business First)
