A message from our team

Ahh, the smell of fresh paint. Today we’re excited to share some updates to our newsletter design. We hope these changes will help us deliver an even better reader experience — but as with most remodels, we may experience a few hiccups along the way. If your email doesn’t look quite right or if you have feedback on ways we can continue to improve, please drop us a line.

💸 The money’s there — don’t leave it behind

Happy Saturday, CBUS.

We’re gearing up for our weekend grocery run, so we wanted to let you in on our latest shopping secret: 10% cash back at Giant Eagle.

That’s right, you can snag up to 10% back every time you visit the local grocer. And we don’t mean random rewards or confusing points — we’re talking cold, hard, your-bank-account-just-got-bigger cash.

It all starts with Upside: a 100% free app that’s partnered with Giant Eagle + other big brands to add a bit of bling to your normal shopping routine.

In fact, regular Upside users earn an average of $280 per year just by using the app at spots they already visit.

Here’s how easy it is:

Download and start earning

The last thing any of us want is a bunch of hoops to jump through. That’s why Upside integrates seamlessly into your existing day-to-day.

All you do is:
  1. Download the app with a tap, and you’ll start receiving personalized cashback offers (like your fave groceries at Giant Eagle).
  2. Make your purchase
  3. Watch as cashback is automatically added to your account.
Upside users earn an average of 8% cash back using the app — nearly 3x more cashback than standard loyalty programs + credit card rewards.

45,000+ bizes to choose from

Giant Eagle is a great start, but the cashback doesn’t stop at just groceries. Not even close.

With 45,000+ gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants in the Upside app, the earnings are always just around the corner.

From weekly staples like Shell, Valero, and Chevron to fast-food faves like KFC, Popeyes, Wendy’s, and more, you’ll find opportunities to earn cash back everywhere you look.

Extra moolah for new members

For a limited time, new Upside users can earn a bonus 10% cash back on their next Giant Eagle purchase, up to $10.

But don’t just take our word for it — explore the 550,000+ real app store reviews that earned Upside a 4.7 rating.
