What’s cookin’, Columbus?
Now that it’s officially 2022, we are previewing nine new restaurants + bars opening this year.
Lasalle’s Southern Kitchen + Bar, 30 S. Young St.
Southern classics like fried green tomatoes and fried chicken + a grand opening date on Fri., Jan. 14-16.
DiCarlo’s Pizza, 20 S. State St.
The take-and-bake shop offers pepperoni rolls, pizza (duh), and beer and wine + is expected to open in Jan.
Velca Grill, 2151 W. Dublin-Granville Rd.
This new spot will replace the former Blarney Stone Tavern and offer authentic Albanian options + the restaurant is waiting on approval of its liquor license.
Goodwood Brewing and Spirits, 401 N. Front St.
A new brewery is headed to the Arena District early this year with options like the citrusy Goodwood IPA or the chocolate-caramel Walnut Brown Ale.

Stone Bar and Grill, 1045 Bethel Rd.
An upscale sports bar offering new American classics like steaks and wood-fired pizzas + an opening date is planned for early Feb.
Biscuits by Daddy-O, 821 E. Long St.
More southern classics, this time with an emphasis on dishes featuring freshly baked biscuits + the opening date is set for early Feb.
Mr. Hummus Grill and Pizza, 1131 N. Fourth St. + 1333 Northwest Blvd.
Two new locations are headed to CBUS and are expected to open at the end of April this year.
East Market, 1600 Oak St.
Large market style setting with 11 food and retail vendors expected to open this year including Ohio City Pasta + Yellow Brick Pizza. Openings are slated to happen throughout the year.

Bridge’s End Brewing Co., 9320 Dublin Rd.
This brewpub headed to Shawnee Hills near the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium will offer lighter craft beers + is expected to open in late 2022.
