With Thanksgiving races and walks just around the corner, here’s a rundown of turkey trots with charitable efforts. Drumstickserr, drumroll — please.

  • Upper Arlington Turkey Trot | Thursday, Nov. 23 | 8:30 a.m. | Shops on Lane | $15-$50 | Support the Easterseals’ Early Intervention program, a nonprofit helping children reach their potential regardless of disabilities.
  • Flying Feather Four-Miler | Thursday, Nov. 23 | 9 a.m. | The Club at Corazon | $10-$60 | Donate used or new books to Columbus Kids Book Bank, a nonprofit providing educational resources to students.
  • Thanks-For-Giving Four-Miler | Thursday, Nov. 23 | 8:15 a.m. | Market Square | Donations accepted | Support three nonprofits: the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, Life Care Alliance, and the New Albany Thanksgiving Day fund.
