When it comes to rooting for the Columbus Blue Jackets, hockey nights have never had so much fanfare until now.

The local hockey club unveiled its latest addition to Nationwide Arena, which brings a dedicated 4,000-sqft space near section 118 overlooking the practice rink. This new fan zone was designed to look like the CBJ locker room + here’s what fans can expect when they enter:

  • eSports Arena — Complete with seven Xbox consoles that are loaded up with NHL 23, the latest virtual hockey game from EA.
  • Slapshot Challenge — Attempt to score virtual goals through different challenges such as beat the goalie, target practice, and a speed test.
  • Goalie Challenge — Try to stop all five shots from scoring.
  • Pose with the Pros — Fans can take a photo with a virtual version of popular players like Boone Jenner, Johnny Gaudreau, and Zach Werenski.
