Columbus Book Festival unveils author lineup for two-day event

The Columbus Book Festival brings in 200+ local and national authors, including a lineup of five featured authors with one from CBUS.

With 200+ authors visiting the Columbus Metropolitan Library, it’s safe to say the Columbus Book Festival is a novel event.

This free-to-attend event is returning to the Main Branch (96 S. Grant Ave.) on Saturday, July 13-Sunday, July 14 with 200+ national and local authors. Additionally, free reservations are required for these featured authors in conversation:

  • Nick Petrie | Saturday | 11:30 a.m. | Author of “The Price You Pay,” published in February 2024.
  • Porochista Khakpour | Saturday | 1 p.m. | Author of “Tehrangeles,” to be released in June 2024.
  • Kennedy Ryan | Saturday | 4 p.m. | Author of “This Could Be Us,” released in March 2024.
  • Veronica Roth | Sunday | 12 p.m. | Author of “When Among Crows,” published in May 2024.
  • Hanif Abdurraqib | Sunday | 3 p.m. | Columbus-based author of “There’s Always This Year,” released in March 2024.

The festival will also have a food court, live entertainment, and meet-and-greets.
