🏗 ODOT’s Downtown Ramp Up

In March, we shared the news about ODOT’s projects to improve highway ramps downtown + on Fri., June 17, the I-70 eastbound exit ramp to Front Street will permanently close. Other notable closures that day include parts of W. Fulton Street + Livingston Avenue.

Changes to I-70 E. also impact SR 315 S., where traffic coming from SR 315 S. will have to merge with I-70 E. traffic for the next year.

Pro tip: Need to get downtown from I-70 E.? Take the Livingston Avenue exit which will not be affected by construction.

🏗 The Wexner Medical Center Inpatient Hospital

This 1.9 million sqft hospital is in the middle of its major construction phase with workers currently adding the steel frames that will support the 26-story building. This should wrap up around November, said Kristin Poldemann, vice president of Facilities Design and Construction at Ohio State. But, there’s still plenty of work to do as construction won’t end until mid-2025.
