We had the chance to visit The Taphouse at Retreat 21 during its opening weekend, so today we are uncorking some takeaways from the newest winery outside of CBUS.
Getting there
Follow the signs pointing to the winery upon entering off of Industrial Pkwy and park in the gravel lot in front of the taphouse.
The atmosphere
The winery is kid-friendly, and we saw a mix of families and young adults. Enjoy options for indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas or spots to cozy up by outdoor fire pits. Plus, find lawn games like badminton and cornhole + rotating live music on the weekends.
The drinks
The drink menu features wines, ciders, and wine slushies. We mixed the strawberry fields slushie flavor with the lemon cider for a refreshing summer drink.
The food
The food menu offers light bites like hummus and fruit and cheese boards. Rotating food trucks — including 1487 Brewery — will also be available on the weekends.
