Golf season is here. Whether you’re looking to play 18-holes, practice your swing, or improve through lessons, we’ve got a breakdown of golf courses, driving ranges, and educational facilities to make sure you’re up to par.
Golf courses
The following courses offer the option to play nine or 18 holes:
- Scioto Country Club, 2196 Riverside Dr. — As the first 18-hole course in central Ohio, this Upper Arlington spot has hosted major national tournaments such as the PGA Championship and US Open.
- Champions Golf Course, 3900 Westerville Rd. — This course is recommended for more experienced golfers as it is considered one of the most difficult courses in central Ohio due to the hilly land, large trees, and rolling fairway.
- Raymond Memorial Golf Course, 3860 Trabue Rd. — This course has a unique feature to allow games to move at a faster pace. For each par-three hole, there are two parallel holes with their own tees and greens.

Golf lessons
If you’re taking your very first swing at the game of golf and want a little assistance, here are three exceptional teaching facilities for lessons:
- GOLFTEC — Professional coaches are available for all ages and skill levels to teach lessons, give golf instruction, and provide custom club fitting.
- The Golf Room – Golf Digest has named owner Kyle Morris as one of the best young instructors in the country, and you can learn from him step-by-step at this indoor facility.
