You may be wishing winter away, but with fun seasonal activities like ice skating, you can still make the most of it. So, grab your skates and winter coat, because we have three outdoor ice skating rinks for you to try.
Open on Friday 5-9 p.m., Saturday 12-9 p.m., and Sunday 12-6 p.m. through mid-March, admission and skate rental is $12 for this outdoor Dublin rink. Pro tip: Head over toBridge Park after you skate, which is a mile away, for shopping and dining options.
This outdoor rink is open daily when temperatures are below freezing for multiple days in a row. Admission is free, but guests must bring their own skates. When school is closed and the weather is cold enough (think MLK Day), the rink is open 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Pro tip: Take a break by the fireplaces in the nearby pavilion to keep warm.

Bonus: Is skating not really your thing, but you still want to try your hand at a winter adventure? Check out local sledding hills when the snow starts falling, like the ones at Olentangy River Parklands, Big Run Park, or Antrim Park, which has a smaller hill for kids. 🛷

Editor’s pick: My friends and I attended a DIY denim class at Naz Thrift in Grandview, and it was such a fun experience. We brought our own denim jackets and painted Block O’s, added iron on patches, and distressed the ends of the denim.
If you and your friends want to follow our lead, you can DM the Naz Thrift Instagram page directly to set up a class.
