When it comes to the Columbus restaurant scene, no one knows it better than local food bloggers. So, we talked with local experts, and they dished out some tasty insight.

If friends are visiting, what’s one restaurant you recommend they try?

"Comune. The menu is so thoughtful and creative, and I enjoy their wine selection. I love that the dishes are shareable, which gives the opportunity to try so much more. Bonus that it’s next door to Parsons for a before or after dinner beer.” — @eatpour614

Rooh. It’s a more modern Indian cuisine, but every dish I’ve had is an explosion of flavors in my mouth. Everything from their cocktails to their entrees is so unique.” — @alexa__eats

Spring is here, and many Columbus spots are ramping up their outdoor dining experience. Here are patios to enjoy in four of the CBUS suburbs.

Powell

If you’re in downtown Powell, check out Huli Huli Tiki Lounge at 26 W. Olentangy St. for an escape into a tropical atmosphere. The lounge’s outdoor bar and patio emulates a beachy experience, with exotic cocktails and menu items.

Franklinton

Land-Grant Brewing Company at 424 W. Town Street is one of the most popular Franklinton patios, primarily because of its massive beer garden. You can bring your dogs to the beer garden + enjoy outdoor games like cornhole.

Dublin

VASO at 6540 Riverside Dr. transitions its outdoor igloos to outdoor cabanas for the summer. You can book the private cabana and take in the rooftop views of Dublin.

Downtown

Milestone 229 at 229 Civic Center Dr. has one of the most scenic patios in Columbus. In the heart of downtown, you can enjoy views of the skyline, Scioto Mile + bridge.
