  • The Columbus Zoo wants to reach new heights with its 110-ft Adventure Sky Wheel, opening on Saturday, May 27. The Ferris wheel features LED lights so it can shine bright at night + will be available until Sunday, Oct. 29. Once opened, it will be just one of three different large-scale Ferris wheels in the state. (10TV)
Concert
  • “Another one.” Drake + 21 Savage are doing their best DJ Khaled impression with their latest announcement. The rap icons added a second concert in Columbus at the Schottenstein Center on Sunday, July 2. Tickets for both concerts are now on sale.
Community
  • A public information meeting is set for Thursday, May 25 to discuss a smartlane on I-71 between I-670 + I-270 North. The project would cost $48+ million as it would also resurface roads and improve bridges in the area. Watch virtually or in-person at the Linden Community Center, 1350 Briarwood Ave.
Regional
  • It turns out Columbus isn’t the only city looking into railways into Ohio. Officials in Fort Wayne, IN recently applied for $500,000 in funding to study a possible corridor that would link it to Chicago, Columbus + Pittsburgh. Indiana agencies worked with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission to help facilitate the application. (Columbus Underground)

  • After three Buckeyes were taken in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, three more athletes were drafted throughout the weekend. Check out all the draft action, including the two Buckeyes that were picked up in later rounds by the Cleveland Browns. The picks are in right here. (10TV)
