Developers met with the Brewery District Commission to review updates to designs that would reimagine the old Jones Heel shoe factory into apartments. A groundbreaking could be held early 2024 as developers aim to have paperwork finalized this fall. (Columbus Business First)

The YWCA received a $400,000 grant from the Franklin County Commissioners to support their efforts in helping families experiencing homelessness. The YWCA will use these funds for its Family Center, which helped serve 500+ kids in 2021. (The Columbus Dispatch)

Warabeya North America, a food manufacturing company for 7-Eleven, is planning to open a plant next to the Rickenbacker International Airport. Records show the international company will invest $81.5 million into the 140,000-sqft manufacturing facility that will produce various to-go foods. (Columbus Business First)
