We still aren’t over the sudden closure of Rag-O-Rama. And in light of that, we did what we know best: Search all corners of Columbus for alternate options. Here’s what we’ve found.
  • Deja Vu Resale Boutique, 11 N. State St. | Shop this Westerville women’s clothing store that updates its offerings each season.
  • Eclectiques Antique Mall, 3265 N. High St. | Get lost in this winding basement that is full of different vendors offering vintage clothes, decor, home goods, and furniture.

  • Discount Fashion Warehouse is opening a new location at 1824 W. Henderson Rd. today at 10 a.m. This is the seventh store in CBUS and 17th total store in Ohio, which was originally created by Ohio State University graduates. (Columbus Business First)

  • Marvin Harrison Jr., the decorated Buckeye wide receiver, has declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. Many experts consider Harrison Jr. the best prospect in the draft, making him a projected No. 3 overall pick on many mock boards.

  • The first Franklinton Friday of 2024 is tonight at 6 p.m. in the Franklinton Arts District. Explore local art galleries like Chromedge and 400 West Rich + grab dinner and drinks at local restaurants.

  • Columbus Fury inked a partnership with Mount Carmel Health Systems, making it the first local healthcare group to support the professional volleyball team. Fury’s first-ever season starts Thursday, Jan. 25 on the road against Grand Rapids.

  • Amazon will lay off nearly 300 central Ohioans after failing to extend a contract with GDI Services, a janitorial service. As a result, the West Jefferson plant will lose 142 employees, the Rossford plant will lose 95 employees, and the New Albany plant will lose 42 employees. (NBC4)

Enter: Dinner Dollars, a new program offering a $10 discount at select downtown restaurants on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout winter. It officially kicks off on Wednesday, Jan. 17 and ends Thursday, March 28.
