Land-Grant Brewing Co.'s reach is growing — or should we say extending?
The popular Franklinton brewery unveiled its newest addition “The Extension” on Friday, March 29.
“Our vision for The Extension goes beyond simply serving drinks; it’s about crafting an immersive experience that celebrates the artistry and innovation inherent in craft beverage production,” said Victor Pool, Senior Director of Brewing Operations.
Let’s crack open a six-pack of need-to-know facts:
The bar will be 1,000 sqft.
It will open in May, per LG.
It is located at the rear of Idea Foundry on W. Chapel Street, just a few steps away from the taproom.
There are 12 taps, offering one-of-a-kind craft beers, beer + wine collaborations, or ready-to-drink cocktails.
Land-Grant will use this space for innovation, so prepare for small-batch brews and experimental libations.
Pickleball and basketball courts are also on the way for the taproom.

Here’s your friendly reminder that today is April Fool’s Day. Don’t fall for any outlandish headlines, like this blunder from 1965, which created panic for many (oblivious) Columbusites who didn’t read the full story.
