Mikey’s Late Night Slice will soon be a new food vendor at Pins Mechanical Co. in Easton and Bridge Park. The local pizzeria is expected to open sometime this summer in the former Weenie Wonder space. We’re not bragging, but we totally called it.

The City Center DORA was approved by Columbus City Council and could officially go into effect on Friday, May 24. If all is finalized, the community could casually stroll the Scioto Mile with a cold beer in hand. Cheers to that. (10TV)

Dave’s Hot Chicken, a popular fried chicken chain, will open a new location on Friday, May 3 at 803 Polaris Pkwy. in Westerville. This is the third CBUS location for Dave’s, with the others on OSU’s campus + Dublin. (Columbus Business First)

Mo Rocca, a CBS Morning News correspondent, will be in conversation at CCAD on Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. Following his stage time, Rocca will be available for autographs and photos with fans. All seats are on a first come, first serve basis. (The Columbus Dispatch)

The beloved CD 92.9 FM played its last song on airwaves on Monday, April 29. It previously closed earlier this year and attempted to stay online via streaming. The popular indie station took to Instagram to thank the community for 30+ years of memories and cherished moments.
