We know the question on your mind, Columbus — is this warm weather sticking around?
Thanks to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center, we know what temperatures and precipitation trends to expectin our city for March, April, and May. While exact weather conditions typically can’t be predicted more than a week in advance, here’s a seasonal outlook to help you prepare for what spring will bring.
🌡 Temperature
Here’s some good news — according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)’s Climate Prediction Center, we have a 33-40% chanceof temperatures being higher than normal.

Keep your umbrella handy. Columbus has a 40-50% chance of seeing above normal rainfall amounts this spring.

🗓 By the month: March
March is when the weather starts to take a turn, with high temps averaging ~49° and lows of ~33°. Gear up for rainy season, with an average of 13 rainy days in the month. Bonus: The first day of spring is Thursday, March 20.

Hip-hop star and Grammy Award-winning artist T-Pain is headlining a show at the 2025 Ohio State Fair on Wednesday, July 30. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m.
Opening
Bada Bean Bada Booze, which offers coffee by day and cocktails by night, is opening a third location at 2157 Quarry Trails Dr. on Saturday, April 5. The new spot will be close to the metro park with hiking trails and rock climbing.
Eat
Nationally recognized burger restaurant Bareburger — which currently operates in the Short North — is opening a new location in former Melt Bar & Grilled at Easton. It is expected to open by July or August. (614now)
