This news is kind of a big dill. With the recent announcement from Pickle & Chill, CBUS is soon to be home to two different pickleball facilities.

While Pickle & Chill, a pickleball facility with 11 indoor + outdoor courts, is planning for an October opening, Real Dill Pickleball Company plans to open in Polaris in the fall of 2023. And today, we’re serving up what you need to know about these spots.

Pickle & Chill, 880 W. Henderson Rd. 🏓

This spot comes from David + Cari Kass, the husband and wife duo who opened Tennis Ohio, which is why it also shares the same address and space with Tennis Ohio. Once open, it will be the first place in Ohio to offer a place exclusively for pickleball with food and drinks.

The 25,000 sqft project will be completed in two phases, with phase one adding six indoor courts for the October opening. Phase two includes five outdoor courts plus a bar and lounge area with additional seating, and is expected to finish in the summer of 2023.

Joining TopGolf in Polaris is Real Dill Pickleball Company, which will be adjacent to the golfing venue once it opens. Not only will this new facility host the local community, it will also be home to tournaments + competitions as it stands as one of the company’s only locations in the US.

According to its website, Real Dill locations typically feature eight to 12 courts, with the average venue offering seven indoor courts and one outdoor. Memberships are available, or guests can rent out a court for roughly $30 per hour.

Not into pickleball? That’s okay — Real Dill also offers food + drinks, ping pong, and shuffleboard.
