When the tallest rooftop bar in Columbus opens, we have to tell you what’s up.
Stories on High is the latest rooftop bar to open in Columbus and it towers over downtown, as it resides on the 28th floor of the Hilton Downtown. It opened on Tuesday, Feb. 21 + we’re not telling tall tales about it — here’s what you need to know.
🍸 Scenic sips
When the cocktail, beer, wine, and saké menu outnumbers entrees and dishes, you know you’re in for a night of good drinks. We recommend trying these:
- Stick to what you know with the “Can I Get A Vodka Soda? With A Lime. With A Lime.,” which is made with Watershed vodka.
- Pucker up with a sour “Cat Power” which is made with Midori, ginger, coconut créme, and candy.
- Elevate your sipping with a glass of The Hakushu, an 18-year-old Japanese whiskey.
🍽 Sharing is caring
Many of the dishes are small plates that are meant to be shared. Options are elegant + upscale, ranging from fresh yellowtail sashimi to wagyu nigiri with caviar and truffle. And meals can be rounded out with dessert options like Baked Alaska or New York cheesecake with raspberry. Reservations can be made online for up to 20 people.
