The Columbus Zoo is unveiling a new after-hours experience

The Zoo’s new experience “UNEXTINCT” kicks off on Thursday, March 14 and will be both kid-friendly and offer adult-only nights.

The Columbus Zoo is unveiling a limited-time, after-hours experience called “UNEXTINCT,” which will be centered around threatened and extinct animals. No monkey business, here’s what to expect.

🦦 The details

Be prepared to watch 70 extinct animals come to life with colorful displays as you walk through specialized lighting and immersive pathways. Plus, the Zoo shared that:

  • In addition to entertainment, this all-ages pop-up provides educational value about conservation.
  • This event will be in action on select days in March and April only, so grab tickets to see it before it’s gone.
  • There will be an LED-lit bar offering cocktails + a s’mores experience.

🎟️ Securing tickets

  • Tickets are on sale now for all available dates, with opening day being Thursday, March 14.
  • Tickets start at $17+ for members and $25+ for non-members.
  • Bonus: Friday, April 12 will be an adults-only night, where guests must be 21+ and all tickets are $18+.
