Summer isn’t over just yet, Columbus. We’ve rounded up the best ways to enjoy the rest of this season. Mark your calendars for:

🎨 Summer Spray

Now in its fifth year, Summer Spray is a collaborative mural-making event that showcases the live creation of a dynamic 1,300-sqft mural wall. Local artists have been painting it every weekend since July 13.

Each artist’s unique piece is part of “Beyond the Seen,” the new public art mural, located in the Short North Arts District on Goodale Boulevard between High and Park Streets.

Catch the artists in action at the mural every Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m., now until Sept. 7.

🍻 Hops on High

Celebrate 40 years of Gallery Hops in the Short North at Hops on High on Saturday, Sept. 7. Hops on High showcases various vendors, artists + artisans who reflect the community’s diversity.

🇮🇹 Go Fourth!

Enjoy a day of fun on North Fourth Street in Italian Village during Go Fourth! A Block Party for All. This fun-filled, family-friendly celebration features arts, creativity, and entertainment, like yoga, live music, an interactive mural, and more, on Sunday, Sept. 22.

Entry is free, but proceeds from purchases will benefit art + community services, including cleaning and safety programs, beautification, and placemaking projects that emphasize community connectivity.

“Hymn by Andrew Hendrixson” will begin its installation next week on the exterior of Parkside on Pearl, a new mixed-use building in Italian Village. The piece is a 625-sqft mosaic made from custom Italian glass tile, and is inspired by the poem “Hymn” by A. R. Ammons.

🚗 Park like a pro

Parking in the Short North District is easy, whether you choose a garage or surface parking. Pro tip: Visitors can park for free for the first hour in four parking garages throughout the District from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Experience Short North yourself.
