Try free kayaking at Quarry Trails Metro Park in Columbus, OH

Enjoy solo and tandem kayaks, other equipment, and instruction provided for free at Quarry Trails Metro Park this weekend.

If you’ve ever wanted to give kayaking a try without breaking the bank, this weekend is your chance.

Quarry Trails Metro Park will have two opportunities for free kayaking — today and tomorrow from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Solo and tandem kayaks will be provided on a first come, first served basis along with all other necessary equipment and instruction. Solo kayaks are reserved for those under 275 lbs and are permitted for ages 10 and older. All ages are welcome to use tandem kayaks with adult supervision.

Guests are encouraged to park at 2319 Quarry Trails Dr. for the closest entrance to the water.
