It’s only a matter of time before snow arrives and Chadwick Arboretum is lighting up the runway for its entrance into Columbus.

On Thursday, Dec. 21, the local arboretum will host its Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk, where visitors will learn about its conifer collection before exploring a candle-lit labyrinth on the 60-acre property. Here’s a run-down of important times for the free-to-attend event:

  • 20-minute tours of the Columbus Landscape Association Conifer Collection begin at 4:00 p.m. and will run until dusk.
  • Tours are led by Chadwick staff members, like Dr. Laura Deeter + Dr. Mark Debard.
  • Visitors can also enjoy an open fire, roasted chestnuts, and hot cocoa while exploring the gardens.

While the event is free, the nearby parking lot is $2.50 per hour, which can be paid via credit card. The Arboretum is located at 2001 Fyffe Ct.
