Tomorrow is the first day of winter + Chadwick Arboretum is lighting up the runway for its entrance into Columbus.

On Wednesday, Dec. 21, the local arboretum will host its Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk, where visitors will learn about its conifer collection before exploring a candle-lit labyrinth on the 60-acre property. Here’s a run down of important times for the free-to-attend event:

  • 3:30 p.m. | Meet at the Trellis Entrance for a 30-minute guided walk of the conifer collection.
  • 4:15 p.m. | A second guided walk of the conifer collection begins.
  • 5-6:30 p.m. | Explore the labyrinth + enjoy hot cocoa and roasted chestnuts.

While the event is free, the nearby parking lot is $2.50 per hour, which can be paid via credit card. The arboretum is located at 2001 Fyffe Ct.
