If you enjoyed Zoombezi Bay this summer, rest assured that the fun isn’t going to end as fall creeps in. The water park is transforming into ZOMBIEzi Bay next month, and we have all the spooky insights.
Starting Fri., Sept. 16-Sun., Oct. 30, the water park will turn into a horror theme park with rides, haunted houses, food, and lots of scares. Dates and hours vary week to week.
Haunted houses 👻
- There will be four haunted houses and two scare zones in the park.
- Haunted houses include themes like eternal darkness, a sleep study facility, a realm of the undead, and a circus with 3D glasses to heighten the experience.
- The scare zones include a new destination called “Devastation” which is zombie infested, as well as a Mother Nature-themed zone.
Rides 🎢
- Six rides are available including bumper cars, a 50 ft tall dropping ride, and a wooden roller coaster.
- Rides will be enhanced with loud rock music, dark lighting, fog, and views of zombies down below.
Boo(ze) + food 🍺
- On select nights, a Brews and Bites Tasting Event will also be available to amusement park goers.
- Guests can sample 50 alcoholic beverages (including three NA options) as well as 17 food vendors throughout the park.
