Columbus Blue Jackets unveil new state-of-the-art fan zone

When it comes to rooting for the Columbus Blue Jackets , hockey nights have never had so much fanfare until now.

The local hockey club unveiled its latest addition to Nationwide Arena , which brings a dedicated 4,000-sqft space near section 118 overlooking the practice rink. This new fan zone was designed to look like the CBJ locker room + here’s what fans can expect when they enter:

  • eSports Arena — Complete with seven Xbox consoles that are loaded up with NHL 23 , the latest virtual hockey game from EA.
  • Slapshot Challenge — Attempt to score virtual goals through different challenges such as beat the goalie, target practice, and a speed test.
  • Goalie Challenge — Try to stop all five shots from scoring.
  • Pose with the Pros — Fans can take a photo with a virtual version of popular players like Boone Jenner, Johnny Gaudreau, and Zach Werenski.
