Summer is just around the corner + Topiary Park is looking to be in tip-top shape once the new season arrives. The local park in the Discovery District just announced a lineup of events throughout June, July, and August and we’re here to tell you what’s up.

Sundays in the park

Take “easy like Sunday morning” to the fullest extent with food trucks, live music, and games from 1-4 p.m. each Sunday from June through August. Plus, most of the fun will happen in Kaufman Plaza, which is nearby the Columbus Metropolitan Library’s main branch.

Mindfulness in the park

Unwind + find your inner zen each Tuesday in June with Daron Larson, a local mindfulness speaker, teacher, and coach. Each session from 6-7 p.m. and all experience levels are welcome.

LifeBalance yoga

This once-a-month class is a relaxing way to start a Saturday as each session begins at 11 a.m. Classes are taught by an expert from Replenish Spa, a local business and co-op, and run from June through September.

Movie nights at the park

Grab a lawn chair + some blankets because it’s movie night every fourth Friday this summer. Movies start at 9:15 p.m., and food trucks will be on site beforehand. We’ll be the first to say it — this lineup rocks:

  • June 23: “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”
  • July 28: “Grand Budapest Hotel”
  • August 25: “Grease”
