The largest beauty school campus in Ohio, Mason Anthony School of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, recently opened in Westerville at 6353 Presidential Gateway. We toured the 50,000-sqft campus, and here’s how you can get involved with the school.
Becoming a student
The brand new, state-of-the-art facility can host 600+ students and clients per day with a lit-up makeup bar, 18 private treatment rooms, 75 free-standing cosmetology stations, and 30 full-body massage pedicure chairs in addition to the classrooms.
If you’re interested in a career in esthetics, cosmetology, manicuring, or massage therapy, all you need is a high school diploma to begin your application process at Mason Anthony. Financial aid is available for esthetics and cosmetology as well as payment plan options for manicuring and massage therapy.
Booking a service
Since students are performing the services under licensed supervision, clients can find largely discounted rates compared to regular salon pricing. Owner Larissa Catapano, whose school is named after her son, Mason Anthony, ensures, “You won’t be compromising the salon experience and customer service for cheaper pricing. It’s our mission to still provide our clients with the highest quality of service, and our new campus helps make that possible.”
Clients can book a variety of facial services — including microdermabrasion, LED light therapy, and chemical peels — or try a lash lift, wax, or eyebrow tint. Haircuts, colors, and styling appointments are also available as well as regular + gel manicures and pedicures. Looking for a discounted massage? Massage therapy students will be able to take clients by the end of the year.
Services can be booked online or by calling (614) 710-1025.
Becoming an educator
If you’re already licensed and are looking to help educate the future of the beauty industry, you might consider becoming an instructor at the new campus. Those interested in employment can contact larie@masonanthony.com.
