  • Don’t let yourself fall for a scam this holiday season. Threatening phone calls, fake webpages, and bogus QR codes are among the growing list of tactics used by scammers. While the methods may differ, the motive is always the same: to deprive customers of their money or personal information. Suspect a scam? Here’s what to do.*

🔥 Ranch it up

Ranch it up: Top local spots for dipping and dunking into ranch dressing

Can we get ranch with that? If you haven’t said that phrase when ordering French fries, pizza, or fried pickles — are you even from Ohio?

We don’t want to know the answer to that question. All we know is these local restaurants are some of our favorites for dunking basically everything into their ranch.

Fourth Street Taproom and Kitchen

You can’t go wrong with the bosco sticks, and fried pickles are perfect for any occasion.

Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace

Upgrade your side of fries with this ranch, and thank us later.

Hounddog’s Pizza

If you thought Smokin’ Joes crust was the only upgrade here, think again.

Sexton’s Pizza

You can’t go wrong with the housemade ranch — it completes any pie.

There’s only so much ranch two City Editors can get to — we need your help. Send us your favorite local restaurants for that highly coveted housemade ranch.
The Buy

The Buy 12.13.23 (Affiliate + Six & Main)

A heated vest, jacket, or socks from Ororo so you’re actually comfortable this winter. Bonus: They make great holiday gifts, too.

From the editor
CBUS has been on fire with concert announcements lately. If you could see any musician or band in concert, who would it be? Send your suggestions my way. Personally, I just want Vampire Weekend to come to CBUS to make up for that 2020 show that never happened.
