The new downtown pedestrian bridge is expected to be finished by July, according to city officials. The $6 million project recently finished laying pipes in the Scioto River and is expected to begin pouring concrete on dry land next month.

Two Rivers, a new restaurant concept from a former Cameron Mitchell chef, is planning to open in mid-June inside the former Yabo’s Tacos in Powell. Mike Frame, who also worked as a chef for 101 Beer Kitchen, said the restaurant will feature American fare, cocktails, and craft beer. (614now)

Generation Tux, a previously online-only retail store, is now open at 912 N. High St. in the Short North. This is the first physical location for the menswear outfitter. It was founded by George Zimmer, who also founded Men’s Warehouse.

Ohio State’s first game of the NIT Tournament will be held at the Schottenstein Center today at 7 p.m. The No. 2 seed Buckeyes face the No. 7 seed Cornell. The first 500 students receive free entry.

Tommy’s Pizza vs. JT’s Pizza & Pub | Tommy’s Pizza earned its way to the championship round by gaining 66% of votes last round. Conversely, JT’s faced a major deficit to start the voting, but stormed back in the second half and gained 57% of votes last round.
