Food news: 6 new restaurants to try in CBUS

Be sure to check out these three new restaurants and three new that are slated to open soon in Columbus. From hibachi to charcuterie to Italian cuisine, there’s something for everyone.

Sometimes food news is the best news, so we’re here to bring you some restaurant recaps. Here are bars and restaurants that have recently opened or are coming soon to CBUS.

Open for business

Manila Hibachi, 3747 E Broad St.
Try authentic Filipino barbecue dishes, including meals with beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and salmon. Bonus: The restaurant also has options for breakfast and dessert.

Prime + Vine, 5915 Evans Farm Dr.
This new butcher and wine shop offers customized charcuterie boards, ranging from veggie to Italian to dessert. You can also find a variety of meats, including ground beef, chicken, meatballs, and steak. Bonus: Choose from 100+ different bottles of wine.

Brothers Chicken and Fish, 1808 E. Livingston Ave.
Order chicken wings, tenders, or fish like perch and whiting. Sides include beans, greens, fries, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and Texas toast. Bonus: Catering is available.

Sports & Social, 840 N. High St.
This national sports bar chain will take over the former Melt in the Short North in the near future. The wall-to-wall TVs will make it the perfect gameday place, plus the menu includes classics like tacos, cheeseburgers, and chicken tenders. Bonus: The space will also feature arcade games, ping pong, skeeball, and air hockey.

Miracle Pop-Up Bar, 11 W. Gay St.
This Christmas-themed pop-up bar will transform The Citizen’s Trust downtown starting Friday, Nov. 24. Get in the holiday spirit with a giant igloo and festive cocktails like the Christmaspolitan. Bonus: City Editor Hanna give this pop-up her stamp of seasonal approval.

Spaghetti Warehouse, 150 S. High St.
The new and revamped location will open on Friday, Nov. 30 at the Columbus Commons. Expect modern Italian cuisine and modern architecture mixed with classic touches. Bonus: Enter an auction for vintage items from the Broad Street location.
