They say cats are shy creatures, but one Columbus brewery cat is happy to soak up the spotlight.

Horatio, the beloved assistant manager cat at Seventh Son Brewing Co., is now on display as a portrait inside John Glenn International Airport. The artwork was created by Columbus-based artist Charlotte Belland and it’s apart of the airport’s “Pets Together” series.

“The portraits invite airport guests to read the descriptions, learning about the pets’ humans, their contributions to Columbus communities, and the causes they believe in,” reads Belland’s artist statement.

The exhibit is open to travelers from now through July, featuring dozens of Belland’s creations.

“The disarming friendly faces of the pets encourages all people to pause any preconceived notions they hold and to take a moment to reflect,” stated Belland. “The pairing of sweet, happy pets with LGBTQ+ people & allies and their causes is primed for a variety of reactions.”
