After much anticipation, the new High Bank Distillery Co. in Gahanna officially opened. We attended the soft opening, and we’re here to break down all the details for you.

What’s on the menu?

You can expect the same food and drink menu in Gahanna as the Grandview location for now — including shareables, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. A new menu is expected to roll out with new additions, but always the same staples. And don’t forget about their full brunch menu.

What’s the difference between the locations?

With 7,500 sqft of space and an outdoor patio seating 60 people, there’s much more seating at the new location. More changes include:

  • A plant wall
  • Family style seating with booths
  • A double-sided bar
  • A private event space with a TV

Pro tip: Valet parking will be available for $7 everyday, as spots inside the lot may be limited.

How’s the atmosphere?

The atmosphere follows the same industrial feel as the Grandview location, but brings more entertainment with double the amount of TVsincluding a 100 inch TV. While the patio currently does not have any TVs, they’re expected to be installed in the near future, which makes the patio a great spot for football game days.

Speaking of the patio, it’s calm + scenic and is strung with lights overhead. Opened garage doors separate indoor and outdoor seating.

There’s also a retail store inside with apparel and alcohol including whiskey, vodka, and gin.

What are the hours?

For opening week, the restaurant opens at 3 p.m. on weekdays. Starting on Mon., May 23, they will be open the following hours:

  • Monday-Thursday | 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Friday | 11 a.m.-12 a.m.
  • Saturday | 10 a.m.-12 a.m.
  • Sunday | 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
